Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesundmade four changes from his team that drew 1-1 with Mali in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), ahead of South Africa's final group A clash with Nigeria in Cape Town on Sunday.
Itumeleng Khune was ruled out earlier in the week through injury and was replaced in goal by Moeneeb Josephs.
In defence, Igesund made two changes, with Kaizer Chiefs'Tefu Mashamaite and Mamelodi Sundowns' Tebogo Langerman replacing Buhle Mkhwanazi and Thato Mokeke.
In midfield, Sibusiso Vilakazi was recalled to the team and comes in at the expense of Edward Manqele.
Bafana opened their campaign with a dominant 3-1 win over Mozambique last Saturday, before the hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Mali four days later, in a game where progression would have been guaranteed with a victory.
Wednesday's stalemate means Bafana must avoid defeat, with a draw enough to see them safely through to the next round, while a victory would keep them in contention to qualify as winners of the group.
Thabo Nthethe will skipper the team in the absence of Khune.
