Cowen and Company survey shows difference in pricing among top four US carriers

Cowen and Company survey shows difference in pricing among top four US carriersResearch firm Cowen and Company has recently released the findings of its new survey which reveals that there is a difference in the pricing of the top four US wireless carriers - AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile.
According to the Cowen and Company survey, despite the fact that the payments that customers make to their carriers depend on a number of factors, like personal usage and the plan they have selected, a switch over to another carrier may be beneficial for them in terms of a saving in their monthly carrier charges.
The survey - involving 1,876 mobile customers in the US, including single users and those with family plans - has revealed that the biggest monthly bills are footed by Verizon customers, who pay an average of $148 per month; followed by Sprint customers who pay $144 per month on average.  The monthly payments of the AT&T and T-Mobile customers respectively average at around $141 and $120 respectively.
So far as customer satisfaction is concerned, Sprint customers appear to be the least satisfied lot, with 31.4 percent of them expressing an intention to switch to another carrier.  Among the other three carriers, 17 percent of the Verizon customers apparently have plans to switch, seemingly because of their high bills; while 15.4 percent of T-Mobile customers and 11.1 percent of AT&T users are planning such a move.
