The above conclusion has been drawn from a survey done by a recruiting agency. As many as 2,000 employers were analyzed and it was found worker in age group of 40, well educated woman, earning £31,600 per annum to be 'much fulfilled'. Such women also possess a positive personality, are highly determined and will continuously put their efforts in a particular task till they acquire success in it.
Randstad's research also found that generally, the industries with the most fulfilled workers are construction, farming, teaching, social work, hospitality and health. Unfortunately, such workers are less found in industries such as manufacturing, the public sector and financial services.
According to Randstad, the typical UK employee earning £29,000, a man aged 42, is 'only occasionally confident', and is likely to blame their employer for their lack of job satisfaction. Such men feel 'moderately' fulfilled.
"As the debate about equal opportunities at work continues, it's inspiring to see that women are on top in terms of fulfillment", says Mark Bull, Chief Executive of Randstad.
